M. J. Biopharm Private Limited (MJBPL), as per its credit ratings, manufactures and markets medical formulations mainly for diabetes and antibiotics. It is also backward integrated to produce API called recombinant human insulin used to treat type 1 and type 2 diabetes patients. The company has two manufacturing plants, one in Taloja-Mumbai, to produce formulation and has World Health Organisation – Good Manufacturing Practices certifications complying with the Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme standards. The other plant is in Pune, which is used to manufacture the APIs and is built according to the standards set by the regulated markets.
