Tata Chemicals Limited (TCL), as per the credit rating report, is engaged in the manufacturing of soda ash and related chemicals, including sodium bicarbonate, caustic soda, and bromides. It has a soda ash installed capacity of 917000 TPA. The company also has a 440000 TPA cement plant in Mithapur. TCL is currently the third-largest producer of soda ash capacity of 4.2 million tonnes (MT) in the world with a presence across the globe. It is also the sixth-largest manufacturer of sodium bicarbonate in the world. It is a part of the Tata Group. TCL has soda ash with manufacturing facilities in Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America. It also has an established market presence in the agri science and crop protection business through its subsidiary, Rallis India Limited.
