Ultramarine & Pigments Limited (UPL) is engaged in the manufacturing of inorganic pigments, detergents, and cosmetic-grade surfactants. The company’s product portfolio includes surfactants (linear alkyl benzene sulphonic acid, alpha-olefin sulphonate, sodium lauyl sulphate, and sodium lauryl ether sulphate); pigments (ultramarine blue, ultramarine violet, bismuth vanadate yellow and mixed metal oxide); specialty chemicals (ultracid 64, ultrawet BKC 50%, ultrawet CDEA, ultrawet CMEA); and detergents. UPL has two manufacturing units in Chennai and Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. It has a capacity of 7,500 MTPA in the pigments segment and 50,000 MTPA in the surfactant segment. It is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001:2018 certified company. The company was incorporated in 1960 and has its registered office located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
