NTE Company (Pty) Ltd, incorporated in South Africa in 2006, produces Wattle Extract used as a tanning agent in leather production and as an ingredient in natural polyphenolic adhesive for wood and board manufacturing. The company operates two manufacturing plants with a seasonal capacity to process 110,000 tons of bark. It has traded products including Wattle extract, Tanning extracts of vegetable origin, Quebracho extract, Saturated acyclic hydrocarbons, Inorganic tanning substances, and tanning preparations.
